I purchased an AVN6600 in 2006. I finally had an Ipod cable hooked up. When I put the deck to VTR (Which is the input the ipod is connected to) I gett major backfeed off my engine almost like a bad ground. When I play the ipod it echos through the speakers. We checked all the grounds in the vehicle and put in different Ipod cables and came to the conclusion it is in the deck.
