Before I installed Win XP, and had Win 2000 on it, I had reprogrammed the right-hand Alt key to behave as the Windows key does on a full keyboard. Although the computer recognizes the availability of wireless in the area, it will not connect, indicating that the wireless switch is not on and/or there is no certificate. I have used the FnF5 to confirm wireless switch is on. When I try to connect to local wireless within the house, it never gives me opportunity to sign in with security key.
